Although many people are considering coming back weekly to Mass we are still being offered for free weekend scripts for helping talk about the Sunday readings with your family. Here is the month of May resources from Sophia Press: Teaching_the_Liturgical_Year_May2021
Also, as it has been over a year since the pandemic has changed our lives now is the time for us all to reconsider our worship, prayer, and formation. Maybe these were things we did out of habit and routine, and they have gone to the wayside. Or maybe you know someone (family, friend, neighbor, coworker) who is struggling without their faith. Now is the time for you or anyone you know to come back to your faith. Here is a nice little video from Fr. Mike Schmidt (presenter of Bible in a Year Podcast) that might help motivate you or someone you know to get back: Motivation to go to Mass
If you need anything to want to talk about it, I am available to help!
Also this week there are a couple of cool Saint Days for you and your children to learn more about. On Friday April 23 the church celebrates Saint George. Watch this video with your kids to learn more about him: Story of St. George
Another great saint of the church is celebrated on April 29 and that is St. Catherine of Siena. Here is a fun website that is set up like a social media account for her. It is filled with quotes, crafts, pictures, and more! Catherine of Siena
