Good Morning! My name is Deb Barbachem & I have been a parishioner @ St. Nicholas for 12 years.

I’m here today to encourage you to discover & enjoy the gift of stewardship. I am involved in the ministries of Family Meal Support, Christian Formation & the Stewardship Committee.

The Family Meal Support ministry provides short-term meal support for parishioners in need. The reasons vary but include illness, recovery from surgery, or a death in the family. If you have ever enjoyed the gracious hospitality of a meal provided by another, than you know what an important service this ministry serves. Your involvement in this ministry would only involve you providing one meal for the family. The meal may be homemade or purchased if you prefer.

“From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.” John 1:16

Over the next week, I encourage you to take some time, in prayerful contemplation, to assess the gifts & blessings that God has given you & I urge you to answer the call to serve during next weekends Stewardship sign-ups.

I have found my involvement in these ministries to be a joyful witness to FAITH & miracles. My wish for you is the same wonderful glimpses into God’s abundant GRACE!
