Parish Life

The Parish Life committee seeks to involve as many people as possible in the various facets of the church community and encourages new members to become active in the parish. Activities provided are dances, festivals and seasonal parties. Regular activities include the annual St. Nicholas Fall Fling, pancake breakfasts, spaghetti dinners, Easter Vigil reception, Lessons and Carols reception and receptions entwined with other ministries.

Fall Fling
An annual parish endeavor for fun and funds held on the first Saturday of October. It includes activities for all ages. Games, rides, Tent (White Elephant) Sale, Bake Sale, entertainment, food and fellowship from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Volunteers are greatly appreciated.

Funeral Assistance
When a death occurs in the parish, the funeral ministry offers the family a luncheon or reception following the funeral or wake service.

Kitchen
This committee of parishioners prepares food for various social functions and ministries. Their efforts range from baking cookies, preparing funeral receptions, Antioch retreat for the teens, cooking for the homeless, soup kitchen, spaghetti dinners and pancake breakfasts and fall fling.
