Misson Statement
The
mission of St. Nicholas Catholic Church is to proclaim and spread
the gospel of Jesus Christ through celebration of our faith and
sharing our time, talent and treasure in service of the Kingdom
of God.
May
• May 14 – Battle of the Bands, 7-9 PM, Social Hall, $5 (benefits the Parable Project)
Bring your friends for an evening of great music and refreshments. The featured
band is “Bear Crossing”.
• May 19 - The University of Notre Dame Folk Choir, 7:30 pm, Worship Center
No admission fees! Donations to fund Notre Dame’s Haiti missions will be gladly accepted.
You may purchase Notre Dame Folk Choir CDs after the concert.

• St. Nicholas Youth Choir
The St. Nicholas Youth Choir, under the direction of Jill Caynor, attended a chorus festival trip at St. Thomas More
in Arlington, Virginia on May 2nd, 2010. The chorus festival was called Pueri Cantores which is a national student
choral organization of the Catholic Church. Our youth choir was combined with other choirs from the Mid Atlantic
region to sing together for the 5:30 Mass at the Cathedral. The St. Nicholas Youth Choir also performed during a
short pre-Mass concert by themselves.
